The Dropship is being added to the Real Movie Toys collection in Dallas/Ft. Worth this weekend! They are coming Sunday to pick it up and drive it down to their aircraft hangar where it will be protected from the elements and can be worked on.
There are a few technical issues after it has sat out in the elements for 10 months which was after 6 months of trouble with the air conditioning system. There is some water damage towards the back and a little staining down the side walls towards the back. No insect or rodent infestations – in fact the avionics bay looks clean and dry (although there was probably some condensation on metal parts due to the thermal cycling and humidity).
I am planning to spend a week down there working on it and getting it back up and running this spring after we order the replacement components.
